About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust data systems that support business initiatives. The ideal candidate will interpret and deliver strategic plans that enhance data integration, quality, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design the structure and layout of data systems, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Select and design database management systems that align with organizational needs, defining data schemas and optimizing data storage.
- Establish data access controls and security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Define and implement long-term strategies for data architecture that align with business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions meet the needs of various stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data architecture and data management principles.
- Proficiency in database design and management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of data integration tools and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with cloud data solutions, particularly AWS or Azure.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in data architecture or related fields.
