About this role
The team is seeking a talented and motivated individual for the role of Senior Associate, BackEnd Engineer. The successful candidate will be an experienced programmer who can develop user stories, create test cases, and design and implement solutions in a collaborative agile environment. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with critical peer reviews of design and code, and be able to provide constructive feedback to others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend systems and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Ensure the quality of the software through automated testing and continuous integration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in backend development.
