About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SQL Server Developer with a strong background in Database Design, Data Modeling, and Performance Tuning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SQL Server databases that power enterprise applications and business-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient SQL Server databases based on business requirements.
- Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies for SQL queries and database structures.
- Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions with applications.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and availability through effective database management practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
- Document database designs, processes, and procedures for future reference.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries.
- Familiarity with database backup and recovery strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools is a plus.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in SQL Server development and database management.
