The team is seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and optimize their database systems. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of SQL databases, performance tuning, backup strategies, and security protocols to ensure data integrity and availability. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Manage SQL Server instances and ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and monitor backup and recovery strategies.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and databases.
- Ensure database security and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with development teams to support application database needs.
- Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator (5-8 years).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including installation and configuration.
- Experience with performance tuning, backup, and recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with database security protocols and best practices.
- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
