About this role
The team is seeking a Red Team Specialist to join their cybersecurity team. In this role, you will simulate real-world cyberattacks to test and enhance security controls across various environments, including networks, applications, cloud, endpoints, and Active Directory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and assess security measures.
- Perform social engineering exercises to evaluate human factors in security.
- Emulate adversaries using techniques from the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Utilize OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) to gather information on targets.
- Leverage offensive tools such as Metasploit and Cobalt Strike for testing.
- Develop and maintain scripts in Python or PowerShell to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in penetration testing and red teaming.
- Proficiency in adversary emulation and social engineering techniques.
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Experience with offensive security tools like Metasploit and Cobalt Strike.
- Scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, specifically in red teaming or penetration testing.
