About this role
The team is seeking a Specialist in IT Risk & Compliance to ensure that IT controls are functioning as intended and compliance standards are met. This role involves engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to provide support and guidance on IT policies, risk management, and compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain IT Sarbanes-Oxley (SoX) controls testing and monitoring in accordance with IT SoX requirements.
- Participate in IT risk assessments related to data management and security.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT controls to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to compliance and risk management activities.
- Provide training and support to staff on IT risk and compliance matters.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of IT risk management frameworks and compliance standards.
- Experience with IT controls testing and monitoring, particularly in relation to SoX.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, or similar) are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in IT risk management and compliance roles.
