Solution Developer (6 month contract)

Our client is seeking a Solution Developer for a 6-month contract to contribute to the development of reusable digital solutions that enhance data quality, reporting, analytics, and decision support across various initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and embedding AI-enabled capabilities where suitable, such as AI chatbots, automated report generation, and data quality checks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Digital Solution Development: Design, develop, and maintain reusable digital applications and workflows using Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps, Visual Studio, and modern development frameworks.
• Database Administration & Data Management: Administer, secure, and optimize SQL Server and Azure SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Reporting, Analytics & Data Integration: Develop reporting solutions, dashboards, and data models to support budgeting, forecasting, and program performance.
• Innovation, AI & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements through automation and emerging technologies, supporting the implementation of AI capabilities.
• Collaboration, Documentation & Support: Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate solutions, and prepare technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Developer or Database Administrator with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong T-SQL skills and database performance optimization experience.
• Familiarity with Azure SQL and Power Apps, with the ability to learn quickly.
• Web development experience using JavaScript/TypeScript, .NET, REST APIs, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, including Git and testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with effective communication skills.

Experience: 5-8 years in a relevant role.
