Full-Stack TypeScript Developer (Contract)

Our client is seeking a Full-Stack TypeScript Developer for a contract position, ideally based in Chennai. This role is remote but may require occasional office visits. The contract is for 3 months with a possibility of extension.

In this role, you will be instrumental in building an internal resource planning and management platform. You will take ownership of the entire development process, from database schema design to API integration and UI implementation, deploying on Vercel with a Postgres/Supabase backend. This position is hands-on and requires a self-starter who can work efficiently without a large team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features in TypeScript, including frontend, API/server logic, and database.
• Model relational data and write efficient, correct SQL against Postgres/Supabase.
• Build and maintain database schemas, migrations, and Row-Level Security (RLS) policies.
• Develop and deploy applications on Vercel, managing preview deployments, environment configuration, and serverless/edge functions.
• Write clean, typed, testable code and actively participate in code reviews.
• Debug issues across the stack, from slow queries to rendering bugs and deployment failures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, with a focus on writing idiomatic, well-typed code.
• Full-stack experience with a modern React framework, preferably Next.js.
• Hands-on experience with Postgres/Supabase, including Auth, database management, and writing queries.
• Solid understanding of database fundamentals, including normalization, indexing, and query performance.
• Experience deploying and operating applications on Vercel.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD processes.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ORM/query builders like Drizzle, Prisma, or Kysely.
• Knowledge of Server Components / Server Actions and modern Next.js App Router patterns.
• Testing experience with tools like Vitest or Playwright.
• Familiarity with resource planning, scheduling, or B2B SaaS domains.
