About this role
The team is seeking a Solution Cloud Data Architect to develop and deliver detailed technology solutions through consulting project activities. The ideal candidate will evaluate and recommend emerging cloud data technologies and tools to drive innovation and competitive advantage, focusing on Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based data architectures using Azure and Databricks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company's strategic initiatives and exploratory projects.
- Assess current data architecture and recommend improvements to enhance performance and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on best practices for cloud data solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure competitive advantage.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
- Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in cloud data architecture or related fields.
