About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Software Tester specializing in Embedded Systems to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software validation and a passion for ensuring the quality of embedded software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct software validation for embedded systems to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform both manual testing and test automation to identify defects and ensure product reliability.
- Utilize debugging tools, JTAG, oscilloscopes, and function generators effectively.
- Develop and execute test cases based on requirements and design specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance testing strategies and improve product quality.
- Maintain thorough documentation of test results and defects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in software validation within embedded systems.
- Strong expertise in manual testing and test automation.
- Proficient with debuggers, JTAG, oscilloscopes, and function generators.
- Solid understanding of J1939 / CAN standards.
- Hands-on experience with CANoe and other relevant testing tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience: 4-6 years in software testing, specifically in embedded systems.
