About this role
The team is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and functional requirements to prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality aspects.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
