About this role
The team is seeking a Software Technical Leader with a strong background in Functional Safety to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the design and delivery of ASIL compliant embedded software for power electronics applications. You will leverage your expertise to ensure that safety standards are met while delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of embedded software in compliance with ASIL standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and design specifications.
- Conduct safety analyses and assessments to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and safety guidelines.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of safety and excellence within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- B.E/B. Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electronics, Communication, Electrical, or Instrumentation.
- 6-9 years of experience in embedded software development, with a focus on functional safety.
- Strong understanding of ASIL compliance and safety standards (ISO 26262).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically at a system level.
