About this role
As a Software Quality Principal Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will develop, revise, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts that include resource requirements, schedule assumptions, and scope based on pre-determined product requirements. Your collaboration with Product Development, Product Management, and Customer Support teams will be essential to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive test plans across our product portfolio.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights for product improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in quality assurance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in software quality engineering or related fields.
