About this role
The team is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Manager with expertise in IEEE 802.15.4, Zigbee, and OpenThread. This role involves leading the QA team to ensure the highest quality of software products in the domain of low-power wireless connectivity. You will be responsible for developing and implementing testing strategies, managing QA processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to enhance testing capabilities.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for software products.
- Oversee the execution of functional, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to incorporate quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on wireless communication technologies.
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 802.15.4, Zigbee, and OpenThread protocols.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
