About this role
The team is seeking a Software Engineering Lead who is a hands-on subject matter expert, engineering leader, and people manager. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding a cross-functional team in delivering a defined set of products and services. You will combine technical leadership, delivery ownership, and people management to ensure the success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set the technical direction for projects and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with Product teams to deliver business outcomes effectively.
- Ensure technical and operational excellence across all engineering processes.
- Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design and architecture of solutions to ensure scalability and performance.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a software engineering leadership role, with a strong technical background.
- Proficiency in relevant technologies and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, AWS, etc.).
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to drive technical discussions and make informed decisions.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
