About this role
The team is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Snowflake to join their Global Parts Supply Aftermarket Data Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and maintaining standard reports that facilitate data visualization for management. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the safe sourcing of data, which will help track key business metrics such as Past Due, Backorder, and Supplier Shipping Performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and develop standard reports for a wide supply base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather user requirements.
- Collect and document existing Safe Source data, including tables and flat files.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting processes.
- Visualize daily, weekly, and monthly trends for key business functionalities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Snowflake and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong experience in SQL and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software engineering or data analytics, with a focus on reporting and data visualization.
