About this role
The team is seeking a Software Engineer - SDET 1 to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated tests to ensure the quality and security of software applications. You will work closely with development teams to identify testing requirements and create effective testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts.
- Collaborate with software developers to understand application functionality and requirements.
- Identify, record, and track software defects and issues.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the codebase.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with SAST, SCA, and DAST testing methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing and development, with a focus on automation.
