Software Engineer – MERN - 3 Month contract

The team is seeking a talented Software Engineer with expertise in the MERN stack for a 3-month contract. In this role, you will be an integral part of our software development team, focusing on both the front-end and back-end of innovative digital solutions. This position is ideal for well-rounded, ambitious developers who thrive on new challenges and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and architecture of a range of products.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement user-friendly interfaces and robust backend systems.
• Create UI components that ensure high performance and scalability.
• Integrate backend data and APIs using JSON and RESTful web services.
• Conduct unit testing and ensure high code quality and craftsmanship.
• Participate in the software development process using Agile methodologies, such as Scrum.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of work experience in software development.
• Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+) and production experience with modern web frameworks such as React and AngularJS with TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of state management frameworks like Redux.
• Advanced knowledge of NodeJS and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS/LESS.
• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly GIT.
• Understanding of AWS Microservices environment and development.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Karma, Mocha.js, or Jasmine.
• Practical experience with .NET and C# is a bonus.
