About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a strong focus on Java development. In this role, you will collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA teams, and stakeholders to understand business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining high-performance applications using Java standards and best engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Design and implement scalable, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Adhere to coding standards and secure development guidelines.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in software development, specifically with Java.
