The team is a global leader in high-precision machine tools and surface processing systems, specializing in industrial lapping, polishing, fine grinding, and advanced abrasive technologies. They are currently seeking a Software Engineer II to join their expanding team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that enhance the performance of semiconductor equipment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test software applications that meet the needs of various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop software applications for semiconductor equipment using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware components.
- Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Document software specifications and maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software development, preferably in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
- Experience with software development tools and methodologies, including Agile practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
