About this role
The team is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their dynamic team in Chennai or Bangalore. This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring three days in the office each week. As part of the Pearson Marketing Cloud, you will contribute to a global technology platform that drives digital transformation for eCommerce and web content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable software solutions for eCommerce and web content platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform capabilities and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure optimal platform functionality.
- Assist in the migration of existing systems to more modern architectures and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with web technologies and frameworks, including React or Angular.
- Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of database management and data structures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant software engineering experience, with a focus on eCommerce or web applications.
