About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Software Engineer specializing in Generative AI to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and building Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) systems, as well as architecting and optimizing distributed, cloud-based AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop GenAI/LLM systems, including RAG and agent-based applications.
- Architect and optimize distributed, cloud-based AI solutions.
- Manage vector search technologies such as OpenSearch, vector databases, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.
- Implement fine-tuning techniques including LoRA/QLoRA and instruction tuning, along with advanced prompting strategies.
- Develop reusable frameworks and evaluation methods, ensuring production-quality pipelines.
- Troubleshoot issues across the machine learning lifecycle, including data preparation, training, fine-tuning, and serving.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best engineering practices within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Generative AI technologies and frameworks.
- Proficiency in managing cloud-based solutions and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with vector databases and data ingestion pipelines.
- Experience with fine-tuning and advanced prompting techniques.
- Solid understanding of machine learning lifecycle processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI and machine learning.
