About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of an automation framework for their Video Management System (VMS) platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong software development skills and extensive experience in test automation, with the ability to build scalable automation solutions from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation frameworks for web applications, desktop applications, REST APIs, and device-level workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement testing strategies.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with web technologies and RESTful services.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in software development and test automation.
