About this role
The team is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in DER Integration within IoT and Energy Systems. This remote position is focused on building and scaling integrations between the team DERMS platform and various third-party devices, OEM APIs, building systems, and utility protocols. Ideal candidates will have a passion for backend development and a strong understanding of energy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party devices and APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as they arise.
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of integration solutions.
- Document integration processes and maintain technical specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in .NET programming languages.
- Experience with IoT protocols and energy management systems.
- Familiarity with API development and integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in software development, particularly in backend systems and integrations.
