About this role
The team is building AI agents that automate complex patient access workflows in U.S. healthcare. They are seeking a Software Engineer Architect to own the technical architecture of their AI agents, focusing on benefits verification, prior authorization, and referral intake in specialty pharmacy.
In this role, you will:
- Design and implement scalable software architectures for AI-driven applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and project timelines.
- Lead the development of LLM-based agents, ensuring they meet healthcare compliance and operational standards.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and healthcare technology to drive innovation.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Proven experience in software architecture and design, particularly in AI and machine learning applications.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
