The team is seeking a Software Engineer 3 specializing in Platform Security to join their innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the security posture of the team ecommerce platform, ensuring the safety and integrity of transactions across various markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security solutions to protect user data and transactions.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing on existing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor security incidents and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to proactively address emerging threats.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Deep understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with security tools and frameworks (e.g., OWASP, SAST, DAST).
- Experience with cloud security, particularly in AWS or Azure environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in software engineering with a focus on security.
