About this role
The team is seeking a talented Software Engineer 2 to join their team. In this role, you will focus on backend development for customer-facing products that empower Security Operations Center (SOC) teams to efficiently search across cloud email tenants, investigate threats, and execute remediation at scale. You will be instrumental in enhancing systems that enable security teams to identify and act on malicious messages within the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services that support SOC functionalities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective solutions.
- Utilize AI-augmented development practices to enhance productivity and code quality.
- Leverage modern AI tools to accelerate development processes and improve the deployment of features.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in software engineering, particularly in backend development.
