About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Software Engineer- 2 (Backend) to join their team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services that support cross-border payment solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability and reliability of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in backend development.
