About this role
The team is seeking a Software Engineer II with a focus on backend development to join their Federated Intelligence Platform team in India. This team plays a crucial role in the Abnormal Data Platform, handling the ingestion, storage, and retrieval of essential entity insights and threat indicators that enhance core detection and the customer portal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the Federated Intelligence Platform.
- Manage and optimize NEP reads to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Oversee the operation of OpenSearch to facilitate efficient data retrieval.
- Ensure the reliability and integrity of domain and vendor-engine federation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and enhance existing functionalities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
- Experience with database management and data storage solutions, particularly OpenSearch.
- Strong understanding of data ingestion and processing frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, preferably AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems.
