About this role
The team is seeking a Software Engineering Tech Lead to take ownership of the technical direction of a squad within their AI Platform. This role involves leading either the Agent Stream or the Platform Team, ensuring that the squad designs and builds effectively. You will run design sessions, make squad-level technical trade-offs, and translate the Software Architect’s direction into actionable squad execution. While remaining hands-on in coding and design, your primary responsibility will be the technical soundness of all deliverables from the squad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical direction and decision-making for the squad.
- Facilitate design sessions to foster collaboration and innovation.
- Ensure alignment with the Software Architect’s vision.
- Oversee the quality of the code and design produced by the squad.
- Mentor and guide team members in best practices and technical skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and projects.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in software engineering and technical leadership.
