The team is seeking a Software Development Manager for their Platforms team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and reliable software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges and roadblocks to ensure timely project completion.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software development and team management, with a strong technical background.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
