About this role
The team is seeking a Software Development Engineer Test (L2) with a focus on web applications. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of web-based software products through rigorous testing and automation. You will collaborate closely with development teams to design test plans, develop test cases, and implement automated testing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement test strategies for web applications.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks.
- Conduct manual testing as needed to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to improve product quality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in testing web applications and understanding of web technologies.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on web applications.
