About this role
The team is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to join their Automation Quality Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate with Quality Engineering and Development teams to define the automation test strategy, plan, and develop test cases and test suites for a variety of products, including Touch panels, Thermostats, Commercial Lighting systems, Control Systems, Unified communication, and Network Streaming devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automation tests to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Design scripts and procedures to detect software defects and ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams for continuous improvement.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the software development process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with test management tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies and testing best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in software testing and automation.
