About this role
The team is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to join their Engineering team focused on Cloud Platform solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for building automation frameworks that ensure the reliability and quality of foundational cloud services. You will work closely with software engineers to enhance the testing processes and contribute to the overall quality of a growing SaaS platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for API testing and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
- Implement quality assurance best practices in the CI/CD pipeline to ensure high standards of software quality.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues effectively.
- Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Strong understanding of API testing and web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing or development, with a focus on automation.
