The team is seeking a Software Development Engineer III - Backend to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust backend systems that can handle millions of orders daily. As a key player in the engineering team, you will ensure the reliability and efficiency of our systems, contributing to the overall success of the e-commerce platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and requirements.
- Optimize existing systems for performance and reliability.
- Implement best practices for software development and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in backend development using languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Proficiency in database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and microservices architecture.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems.
