The team is seeking a Software Development Engineer II (ML) to join their Competitive Monitoring team within Amazon's Worldwide Pricing and Promotions team. In this role, you will tackle some of the most complex technical challenges in areas such as Crawling, Large-scale computing, Distributed systems, and Web applications. You will leverage Large language models to create agentic workflows and develop scalable, robust solutions that operate at Amazon scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement machine learning models to enhance competitive monitoring capabilities.
- Build and maintain large-scale distributed systems to support data processing and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver innovative solutions.
- Optimize existing algorithms and systems for performance and scalability.
- Conduct research to identify new technologies and methodologies that can improve product offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in software development with a focus on machine learning applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with large-scale computing frameworks and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with web application development and crawling technologies.
- Knowledge of large language models and their applications in real-world scenarios.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in software development and machine learning.
