Software Development Engineer- Automation

The team is seeking a Software Development Engineer specializing in Automation to join their dynamic team. This role involves developing and implementing automation solutions across various platforms, ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Turn tech stack and application design into code on multiple development platforms (e.g., iOS, Android, web/Angular).
• Address problems and questions by applying established criteria to influence development outcomes.
• Conduct applications systems analysis and programming activities, including feasibility studies and implementation of new systems.
• Write secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code while ensuring quality and timeliness of service.
• Engage in digital applications development, risk technology, and application support activities to meet specific business needs.
• Consult with users and other technology groups to recommend programming solutions for customer-exposed systems.
• Understand the functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties of the systems involved in projects.
• Build and maintain integrated project development schedules, accounting for dependencies and constraints.
• Negotiate features and priorities to reach consensus with the team and customers.
• Improve team development processes to accelerate delivery and enhance quality.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, demonstrating sound ethical judgment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4-8 years of strong proficiency in Java programming with hands-on development experience in test automation.
• Experience with UI automation (Selenium) and API testing across distributed applications.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience in debugging Java-based backend services and Angular-based front-end applications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to independently troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Exposure to leveraging AI/ML in test automation, including AI-driven test case generation.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent.
