About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer specializing in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Cloud Reliability to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the stability and performance of their cloud services and applications, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance application performance and reliability.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
- Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
- Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system architecture principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on SRE and cloud technologies.
