About this role
Our client is seeking an experienced Software Automation Test Engineer to join their QA team on a contract basis for an upcoming long-term project. This role is fully remote and is ideal for candidates who can join immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and enterprise solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and create effective test cases.
- Identify, record, and track defects, ensuring thorough documentation and communication.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software automation testing.
