Sr. Python Full-Stack Developer (Contract – 3 Months)

Our client is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Python Developer for a high-impact, 3-month contract (remote, India) to accelerate product features and delivery for a recruitment-tech platform. In this hands-on role, you will own backend services, deliver modern front-end experiences, and ship robust CI/CD-driven releases in an Agile environment. This position is ideal for engineers who move quickly, write clean code, and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain scalable Python backend services (Django/Flask) and REST/GraphQL APIs to support core platform features.
• Develop responsive front-end components using React.js (or comparable frameworks) and integrate them with backend APIs for seamless user experience.
• Own database schema design and optimisation (Postgres/MySQL), implement efficient queries and maintain data integrity.
• Containerise applications with Docker, implement CI/CD pipelines, and support automated testing and deployment workflows.
• Implement background processing and caching (Celery/Redis) for asynchronous jobs and performance-critical tasks.
• Collaborate with product, QA and DevOps teams in Agile sprints; participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years professional experience building web applications with Python (3.x) and Django or Flask.
• Proven full-stack experience — React.js (or similar), HTML/CSS/JS, and integrating front-end with RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Postgres or MySQL; familiarity with database tuning and migrations.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and Git-centric workflows.
• Solid test-driven development practices (unit/integration tests with pytest or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work remotely across time zones, and deliver under tight timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Celery, Redis, Elasticsearch, or real-time messaging systems.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure or GCP) and familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Prior exposure to recruitment-tech, SaaS platforms, or high-throughput user systems.
