About this role
The team is seeking a skilled SoC Front-End Design & Signoff Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves designing and verifying front-end components of system-on-chip (SoC) solutions, focusing on multimedia consumer devices such as OTT/IP set-top boxes, Smart TVs, and Smart Home products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement front-end components for SoC solutions.
- Conduct functional verification and signoff of designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets performance and power specifications.
- Optimize designs for cost efficiency and energy savings.
- Support the integration of advanced media processing engines with CPU and GPU technologies.
- Participate in the development of turnkey solutions for Android and Linux platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in SoC front-end design and verification.
- Proficiency in hardware description languages (HDLs) such as Verilog or VHDL.
- Experience with digital design tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of SoC architecture and design flows.
- Familiarity with multimedia processing and related technologies is a plus.
