SOC Analyst

The team is seeking a skilled SOC Analyst to join their security operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security alerts and events using SIEM tools, ensuring the integrity and security of the organization's information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools.
• Analyze logs from servers, firewalls, endpoints, and network devices.
• Identify, investigate, and escalate security incidents as necessary.
• Perform basic threat detection and vulnerability assessment activities.
• Assist in incident response and remediation processes.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities.
• Document security incidents, findings, and response actions.
• Support the implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine security assessments and audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a security operations center or similar role.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools and log analysis.
• Familiarity with network protocols and security technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
