About this role

The team is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to maintain the stability of their software product throughout its entire development lifecycle. In this role, you will be responsible for measuring and monitoring the system's general state, analyzing incident data, automating monitoring processes, and developing frameworks and scripts to enhance product stability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the stability of the software product throughout the entire software development process.
  • Measure and monitor system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Analyze incident data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Automate monitoring processes to improve efficiency and response times.
  • Develop frameworks and scripts to enhance product stability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate SRE practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in site reliability engineering or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system reliability.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in site reliability engineering or related fields.
