About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join their dynamic team in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems and applications. You will work collaboratively with development and operations teams to implement best practices and improve system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Collaborate with software engineers to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Automate operational processes to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of networking and security best practices.
