About this role
The team is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems and services. You will work closely with development and operations teams to implement best practices in site reliability engineering and contribute to the overall architecture of the infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve system performance and reliability.
- Automate operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Ruby.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field.
