About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Shopify Plus development. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify Plus themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will work with advanced Shopify Plus features, implement complex custom functionalities, and build custom Shopify apps or extensions tailored to business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Shopify Plus themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Utilize advanced Shopify Plus features such as Scripts, Flow, Checkout Extensions, and Plus APIs.
- Implement complex custom functionalities and integrate third-party services.
- Build and maintain custom Shopify apps or extensions based on business requirements.
- Optimize store performance and enhance Core Web Vitals metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Shopify Plus features and APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Shopify Plus.
