About this role
The team is seeking a Shopify Engineer to maintain and expand their existing Shopify application that powers their Digital Front End platform. This application connects Shopify merchants with logistics and cross-border commerce services, enabling international shipping, duties and tax calculation, and global fulfillment capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the production Shopify app to ensure optimal performance.
- Scale integrations with various logistics and commerce services.
- Incrementally expand platform capabilities based on business needs and user feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the Shopify application.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Shopify development, including Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and webhooks.
- Familiarity with Shopify's ecosystem and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in Shopify development or related fields.
