About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Web Platform Engineer to join their innovative team. This role is pivotal in building a multi-tenant website platform that generates, publishes, and maintains client websites at fleet scale. You will be instrumental in transitioning from a fragmented legacy stack to a unified platform using Payload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable web applications that meet the needs of thousands of healthcare practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Maintain and optimize the performance of the platform, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to enhance the development process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the production environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in web development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React.
- Experience with backend technologies and databases, preferably with Payload or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of multi-tenant architecture and scalable web applications.
- Familiarity with cloud services and deployment strategies, particularly AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in web development, with a focus on platform engineering.
