Senior Test Analyst - Java Selenium Rest Assured

The team is seeking a Senior Test Analyst with a strong background in Java and Selenium to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both UI and API automation testing, and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of software products through rigorous testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and other relevant tools.
• Implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks, preferably using Serenity or Cucumber.
• Conduct API testing using Karate, Rest Assured, and Postman to validate backend services.
• Collaborate with development teams in a CI/CD environment utilizing GitLab for continuous integration and deployment.
• Perform database testing using SQL and PostgreSQL to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Utilize project management tools such as Jira and Confluence to document test cases and track defects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Nice to have experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter and Datadog.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks, particularly Serenity or Cucumber.
• Experience in API testing with Karate or Rest Assured.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, specifically GitLab.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
