About this role

The team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage, Backup & Automation Engineer to join their Infrastructure Engineering team based in Mumbai - Goregaon (E). This role is focused on the design, administration, automation, monitoring, and optimization of enterprise storage and backup platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement storage and backup solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Administer and optimize existing storage and backup systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Automate processes related to storage management and backup operations.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate storage solutions with other IT services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for storage and backup architectures and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong background in Linux engineering and administration.
  • Hands-on experience managing large-scale storage and backup environments.
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions and backup technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Experience:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in storage, backup, and automation engineering.
