About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage, Backup & Automation Engineer to join their Infrastructure Engineering team based in Mumbai - Goregaon (E). This role is focused on the design, administration, automation, monitoring, and optimization of enterprise storage and backup platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement storage and backup solutions that meet organizational needs.
- Administer and optimize existing storage and backup systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Automate processes related to storage management and backup operations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate storage solutions with other IT services.
- Develop and maintain documentation for storage and backup architectures and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong background in Linux engineering and administration.
- Hands-on experience managing large-scale storage and backup environments.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions and backup technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in storage, backup, and automation engineering.
